On the roads of the regional center and suburban areas, the number of fairly serious and large-scale road accidents has greatly increased recently, where motorcycle drivers were directly involved. Inspectors of the road inspection service in the Irkutsk region in the summer period recorded more than one hundred and fifty such accidents.
During the operation called «Motorcycle», road patrol officers carried out raids across the Right-Bank District. In parallel, they monitored compliance with all traffic rules at traffic police posts.
